The creepy and gory, spooky and scary will soon show their masked faces. Follow these tips on how to host a bone-chilling Halloween Horror Movie Night!

No Halloween party is complete without a ghastly combination of edible broken glass and bloody brains. But don’t worry, these devilish delights are delicious. I’ve rounded up a list of frightful food and drink recipes, and as an Xfinity Internet subscriber, you can search for all kinds of Halloween recipes at lightning speeds with the fastest1 and most reliable2 internet service out there.

Scary Decorating Ideas

Every year I add a couple of new Halloween decorations to my collection, and I have a few neighbors whose efforts are frightfully amazing.

Here are just a few scary decorating ideas for all around your house:

Gene Simmons pumpkin

  • Carve or paint a scary pumpkin – If a Gene Simmons pumpkin isn’t scary enough for you, try one of these.
  • Make a grand entrance for Halloween with creepy Halloween yard decorations and lanterns lighting the path to your door.
  • Create an eery scene with dry ice and a strobe light.
  • Add door-creaking, ghost-moaning or cat-screeching sound effects.
  • For more inspiration, check my list of free Halloween printables.

Did you know … when you’re on the go and you need to do a quick internet search for a Halloween party store near you, that Xfinity customers have access to over 19 million hot spots around the country? This will help you save on data and limit your overage charges.

Another way Xfinity Internet subscribers can save more money is by moving their mobile phone service from another wireless provider to Xfinity Mobile. They can get up to five lines of unlimited nationwide talk and text, through Xfinity Mobile. All they have to pay for is data, either by the gig or with an unlimited plan.

13 Bone-Chilling Horror Movies

The food has been selected, the decorations set … now, for the fright factor: Which Halloween horror movie will you choose?

It’s fairly accurate that I’m a weenie when it comes to horror movies, so I crowdsourced my friends to ask their top Halloween horror movies of all time. Many of these Halloween horror movies are available to Xfinity X1 subscribers as either free On Demand or available for rent/purchase.

Here’s what they came up with:

  1. The Blair Witch Project
  2. Carrie
  3. The Exorcist
  4. Halloween (specifically this one, directed & produced by Rob Zombie)
  5. Hell House (Amazon Prime Video original)
  6. Hellraiser
  7. Kill List
  8. The Last House on the Left (best is the 1972 version)
  9. The Ring
  10. Saw
  11. The Shining
  12. The Silence of The Lambs
  13. Texas Chainsaw Massacre

{SHUDDER} The titles alone give me the creeps!
