Oh, the last days of summer. When you just want to sit on your back porch with some boozy punch and listen to the crickets and cicadas chirp their magnificent sounds.
These are such moments to savor.
Hey you, that has already bought pumpkins and Halloween candy and it’s still mid-September … hold on a minute will ya?
No one is more ready to pull out her fall boots than this gal. But let’s let these moments linger a bit longer, shall we?
I’ve got a sweet, sweet boozy punch recipe to share with you, that involves sweet tea and honey whiskey. Oh, my stars!
So make up a pitcher, invite your neighbor, sit on your back porch and enjoy these last days of summer.
Boozy Back Porch Punch
- 4 oz. sweet tea (make it easy on yourself with Tradewinds Slow-Brewed Tea)
- 3 oz orange-strawberry-banana ready-made juice
- 1 oz honey whiskey (or if your kids are in bed, make it a double)
Directions:
- Do you really need directions? “Mix.”
Fill up a mason jar mug with ice and pour yourself some boozy sweet tea punch. Pull out some fun cocktail napkins, even if it’s just you and a neighbor, because they’re just itchin’ to get out of the cellophane package you bought a year ago for that perfect moment.
Kick back and listen to the sounds of the last days of summer.
These, friends, are moments to savor.
