If you missed my tips on saving on organic foods this morning on Indianapolis’ B105.7, here’s the rundown!
- I buy our organic milk at Meijer. It’s $6.29 a gallon there which is about a dollar less than Kroger and SuperTarget. Plus lately Ibotta has been offering a 50¢ rebate on any type of milk, so that’s like paying $5.79 a gallon for organic. And Fresh Market offers RBST-free milk for $2.99/gal every Tuesday (some states excluded; Thanks Jessica!).
- A couple of coupon websites are focused primarily on organic and natural coupons are Common Kindness and Mambo Sprouts. And on Mambo Sprouts you can sign up for their coupon book that they mail out a couple times a year.
- Sign up for email lists from your favorite natural grocery stores (such as Earth Fare – which also offers text coupons) and email lists for organic brands, because many send out coupons. I also a ton of coupons just browsing the organic brands’ websites. Try Cascadian Farm, Barbara’s, and Earthbound Farm to start.
- Also Eating Well magazine – if you sign up for email updates they send out organic coupons as well. And if you’d like to subscribe, Amazon has a $5/year auto-renewal subscription to Eating Well.
