Have you tried Fiverr yet? I heard amazing things from my friend Cherie over at Queen of Free, and so I gave it a whirl.
About Fiverr
Fiverr works with graphic designers, artists, writers, tech people, you name it – to sell their services for just $5. Need a logo? Want a new business card or letterhead design? Have a photo that needs retouching? Hire a designer for your job for just $5.
What’s the catch? From what I’ve seen in my short time with Fiverr, the only ‘catch’ is you need to provide clear and concise directions, and most designers limit the number of modifications to between 1-3 before you need to pay for an upgrade for more (or sometimes unlimited) modifications.
I hired a designer to create a Holiday Gift Guide logo for Chaos Is Bliss, and while I’m not quite ready for the big reveal, I was quite pleased. I did learn many of the sellers are in other countries, so clear communication is important because there may be language barriers. What I think of an “ornament” came back as a wreath, but it’s still cute so I’m keeping it.
If you’ve tried Fiverr, leave me a comment and let me know what you hired out!
