Two of our three kids are now at the age that it’s getting difficult to shop for them. No longer are the days of multi-colored plastic toys littering our floors and toy boxes. With the exception of our 6-year-old that thankfully still plays with Barbies and stuffed animals, my older daughter has asked for clothing, lip gloss, a new sleeping bag and a grappling hook (? – don’t ask me – it’s her 2nd year asking for one). And my son wants electronics, specifically an iPod Touch.
As if it’s not difficult enough for my husband and I to shop for our older kids, sharing their wish lists with family has also been … well, a pain. Gift cards are nice because the one receiving it can choose anything their heart desires, up to the set budget. And let’s face it – as the gift-giver, what could be easier? Stop in to Kroger and pick up a gift card to a myriad of brick-and-mortar as well as online retailers like iTunes.
So while we will be granting our son’s wish for Christmas, it was super easy to let our family know that an iTunes gift card – of any denomination, to fit any budget – would pair nicely. He can choose games, apps, music and even movies to watch on his new device.
And for a sweet savings on a last minute iTunes gift card, you can clip this Kroger coupon:
