If you’re tuning in to Chaos Is Bliss from hearing my tips on Shine.FM this week, welcome!

Here are the deals I’ve mentioned this week:

  • Pepsi 2-Litre $.44 at CVS: There are so many sources on the internet for printable coupons, but my favorite is still in my Sunday newspaper. Some couponers even purchase multiple copies of the Sunday paper just to have duplicate coupons. Well just recently there was a special Pepsi-Frito Lay insert in the Sunday paper, and hopefully you clipped all the awesome coupons!  One in fact was for 55¢ off a 2-litre of Pepsi product, and at CVS this week Pepsi 2-litres are on sale for just 99cents. Using the 55¢ coupon makes it just 44¢!

  • Why you should have a Facebook account: Whether you’re a fan of Facebook or not, it is the hottest place to score free samples and high value coupons these days. Silk Soy Milk has a $.75 coupon on Facebook. Nathan’s Hot dogs has a dollar-off coupon on their Facebook page. (Expired)Origins skin care is offering a free sample of their new age-fighting eye treatment. To access these coupons you just need to head to the company’s page, “like” them, and either check for a tab that says “coupons” or “promotions”, or if you don’t find it there then look at the company’s Facebook “wall” and you’re likely to see some discussions or status updates that will point you in the right direction. Even if you don’t know if a particular manufacturer is offering a coupon at the time, try going to their Facebook page and you might be surprised to find a deal. While you’re on Facebook, I’d love for you to check out my Chaos Is Bliss page and give me a shout out that you heard me on Shine!

  • FREE Blockbuster Express Rental: To celebrate Matt Damon’s birthday, Blockbuster Express is offering one FREE DVD rental of any available Matt Damon movie, all this month. Just enter coupon code DAMON at the Blockbuster Express kiosk to score your free movie.
  • Recycle Denim for 20% Savings: American Eagle stores are stepping up to offer a denim recycling program. Now through Tuesday the 18th, Bring in any pair of your old jeans or any type of denim into your local American Eagle store. In exchange you’ll get a coupon for 20% off your entire purchase. You can check out the program they’re working with, called Cotton From Blue To Green.
